2013 National Architecture Awards

Held in one of the world’s greatest venues, the Sydney Opera House on Thursday 7 November, the evening begins with drinks and canapés on arrival, followed by the Awards presentation in the Concert Hall. The fun continues with a formal sit down dinner and celebrations into the night.
Designed by Jørn Utzon, the Sydney Opera House is one of the greatest buildings of the 20th century and this year marks its 40th anniversary. A triumph of architecture, it has come to symbolise not only Sydney but also Australia. With over 2,500 performances every year, it is also one of the most creative and busiest performing arts centres in the world. As the creative and cultural flagship of Australia, and also in celebratory mode, wrapping up its own anniversary celebrations, the Sydney Opera House is the perfect venue to announce and celebrate the 2013 National Architecture Awards.
