Goodbye gallery, hello city!

No gallery space could ever be big enough to capture the creativity of an entire city. That’s why Object is doing away with the concept of a conventional design museum.

We’ll let the city be the exhibition space, and we’ll guide you towards design and its stories as you pound the pavement.

Object has captured Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane’s most exciting design to present to you in a series of inspiring audio tours. Go to www.audiodesignmuseum.com to download the tours and maps straight to your own iPod or mp3 player. We’ll tell you where to rest your feet and get lunch, too!

The Audio Design Museum is presented by Object: Australian Centre for Craft and Design.

Object acknowledges the support and contribution of the Australia Council for the Arts and The Melbourne and Sydney Design Guides. The Brisbane tours are presented in partnership with Artisan through Creative Sparks, a joint initiative of Brisbane City Council and the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland.
