Holcim Australia along with the University of New South Wales will host internationally known advocate for sustainable architecture, Dr Nirmal Kishnani for a key note presentation on Thursday, 27th February 2014 from 5.30pm - 7.30pm EDST.
The presentation "Between Green and Sustainable - Emerging Ideas for Asia and Australia" will be followed by a Q&A session panel where Industry and Academic experts will place sustainable construction into the local context.

Dr. Kishnani is Assistant Dean in the Department of Architecture, School of Design and Environment and also Program Director of the Master of Science in Integrated Sustainable Design at the National University of Singapore (NUS).
He is also author of "Greening Asia - Emerging Principles of Sustainable Design", widely regarded as the first book to critique the rising tide of "green" in Asia and put forth principles for sustainable design that are Asia-centric. He is also Chief Editor of "Future Arc", a journal which focuses on sustainable design, and he is Jury Chair of the Future Arc Prize and of the Future Arc Green Leadership Awards.
A previous keynote speaker at the Holcim Awards 2011 Regional Asia Pacific ceremony and Holcim Forum 2013, we are honoured to bring Dr Kishnani to The University of New South Wales for this very special presentation.
