Western Sydney Parklands is located in the centre of Western Sydney and is a 27km corridor of diverse urban parklands that stretches from Quakers Hill to Leppington. Integral to the development of the Parklands has been decisions by the Parklands Trust to engange leading architects, artists and curators to work on a variety of programs in the Parklands ranging from award winning landscape design to site specific works in conjuntion with the Museum of Contemporary Art C3 West program.

This professional development day features presentation that looks at the ways that the  Western Sydney Parklands can provide rich local resources for Visual Arts teachers in Western Sydney.

The day coincides with the important C3 West project, Sleepers Awake by British artists, Ivan and Heather Morison.
