Offshore Studio presents their latest architectural project. Southern Skies Earth and Space Centre is a contemporary Planetarium in Orange, NSW. The project has been developed in close consultation with a group of local astronomers and Orange City Council. The exhibition will show recently prepared presentation drawings and models as well as investigatory and process work for the project. In conjunction with UTS School of Architecture students, Offshore Studio has undertaken brief determination, conceptual development and exploratory parametric design to prepare a proposal integrating vision, site and program.
Offshore Studio is an architectural research practice exploring the nexus of material agency, new technologies in design and their translation to built form.
