 SuperSydney, 42 Councils, 504 interviews

The opening event of this year's festival is called SUPERSYDNEY.

It will examine metropolitan challenges by first inviting the people of Sydney to contribute their visions, concerns and dreams for the future of their city and presenting them in the form of a conversational event. SUPERSYDNEY creates a platform to give voice to the people of Sydney.

This year, the festival aims to promote and encourage communication, collaboration and cooperation beyond one's usual boundaries. The events and talks of the Festival will help to foster a metropolitan spirit for Sydney. SUPERSYDNEY has been born from this spirit. Animators (interviewers) who are mainly architects and landscape architects, accompanied by students from the Architecture Faculty of UniSyd Masters of Architecture and equipped with a training session on how to do good phone interviews, an iphone, mini microphone and tripod have been matched with a council area and are tapping into the viewpoints of many.

The SUPERSYDNEY website will be uploaded with these interviews as they come in.
