As part of Sydney's annual Architecture festival the NSW Architects Registration Board in partnership with the Museum of Contemporary Art and supported by VADEA is offering Visual Arts teachers and their year 10 students a day to immerse themselves in architecture.
Join us at the Museum of Contemporary Art and meet and work with architects, listen to their views and inspirations on contemporary Australian architecture and discover new ideas through a practical workshop.
Enjoy the 3 minute short films and digital stories from Year 10 students as they communicate their understanding or ideas on architecture and hear from other teachers about what they are doing in their classes; learn about new and exciting resources and end the day with an insider's view of the new MCA wing.
Participants include architects Shaun Carter and Victoria Bolton and Heather Whitely-Robertson, Head of Creative Learning at the Musuem of Contemporary Art.
