SAF14 - Kaleidoscope of Indian Cities - Invisible Connections by Ma Collaborative
Image: Courtesy Neena Mand
In the face of daunting complexity and the palimpsest of histories it is necessary to steer away from constructing compelling classifications or attempts to fix the essential character of Indian cities and abandon any presumptions and attempts to produce a representative view or cohesive identity of Indian cities.
The exhibition to be productive takes a less linear approach, and presents India cities with their irreducible difference that need to be understood in their own terms, but still provide invisible connections whether they be cultural, aesthetic or existential, observed and experienced by four individuals.
