Invitation to cultural and creative industries

At the Menzies Research Institute Tasmania, our aspiration is to contribute significantly to human health and wellbeing. We place particular emphasis upon research that takes advantage of Tasmania's unique population stability, its data stores and its genealogical and family histories.

We are keen to explore new ways of engaging public interest in our work.

In September 2014, Menzies will call for creative and design concepts for interpreting science health assessment activities in an engaging and creative way. Up to three submissions will then be selected and supported for further development and realisation.

As part of Open Day 2014, we invite representatives from the cultural and creative industries to attend a special event to learn more about this project and to experience and imagine a series of interactive and participative activities involved in health and medical research.

Please join us on Sunday 31 August to learn more about Menzies and this exciting project.
