We Love Sydney Town Hall
Almost everyone who has lived in Sydney has a connection with Sydney Town Hall. The range of events held in this much-loved Sydney venue over the past 140 years is staggering. No other Sydney building has had the same breadth of activity, or been decorated in so many different ways.
To help us prepare for a forthcoming exhibition, we want you to tell us why the Town Hall is important to you and the community.
On 3 May, as part of the National Trust’s Heritage Festival, we would love you to bring along any memorabilia you have about Sydney Town Hall – photos, event programs, souvenirs or postcards.
Share your memories with our panel of experts and help us to decide what should be in our exhibition. We will have the facilities available to record, document and copy your material – and to discuss loans and donations for the exhibition with our Archives, History and Curatorial teams.
There’ll also be free mystery tours, floor talks, drawing classes, and children’s activities.
Be part of Sydney Town Hall’s history!
