Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority is working on the future of Circular Quay. The opportunity has arrived because of planned investments unequalled in several generations: 38 projects with an estimated investment of $430 million from government and $1.2 billion from the private sector.

The scale of the project will require collaboration between community, government and business, and is an opportunity to improve the public space and usability of Circular Quay which is the crossroads for 28 million passengers (ferry, bus and train), 8.2 million visitors to Sydney Opera House, 3.7 million visitors to The Royal Botanic Gardens, one million visitors to the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia, 150 cruise vessels and 21,000 workers in the immediate area.
